The school will be held at Centre Paul-Langevin in Aussois, France.
Transportation
The nearby city of Modane (8km) is easily accessible by train, with direct TGV trains from Paris, Lyon, etc. There has been a significant call for strikes at SNCF, but there will be no strike on Sunday 6th and Friday 11th.
EPIT busses will run between Modane and Aussois, at the beginning and end of the school:
- from Modane to Aussois on Sunday 6th at 19:00;
- from Aussois to Modane on Friday 11th at 13:00 (to catch trains/busses leaving Modane at 13:45 or later).
Other than that, a few busses run between Modane and Aussois: check here for availabilities and to book tickets. The main option is likely a taxi: see below for a list of contacts.
We will get in touch with all participants once registration is closed, and provide an opportunity for participants arriving at similar times to share taxis.
Arrival
A cold buffet will be available for dinner on Sunday 6th starting at 19:30. Early arrivals are possible from 12:00 that day, though the welcome desk will only open at 17:00.
Departure
The return trip will make it possible to catch trains from 13:45 in Modane (bus travel approx. 30mn).
